President of the Supreme Court Mr. Bertan Özerdağ and Supreme Court Judge Ms. Gülden Çiftçioğlu attended the two-day events organized by the Judicial-Legal Council of Azerbaijan in the capital city of Baku, upon the invitation of the Council. The delegation was accompanied by the TRNC Representative in Baku, Ambassador Ufuk Turganer.
 
On the first day of the event, which was attended by twelve countries, President of the Supreme Court Bertan Özerdağ delivered a speech on the digitalization efforts of the judiciary in the TRNC in the panel titled "Global Challenges in Judicial Administration."
President Özerdağ also participated in the 3rd Meeting of Judicial Councils of the Organization of Turkic States and delivered a speech at that event as well.
 
During the visit, President Özerdağ held bilateral meetings with the host, President of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov, and the heads of judicial councils of the participating countries, where he shared information about the TRNC judiciary.
