Work on enabling the filing of civil appeals to the Supreme Court through the electronic filing system has been completed, and the electronic submission of appeals has now commenced.
This new practice, which is part of the Supreme Court information technology system’s objective to create an electronic case file for every case, provides the technological infrastructure necessary to integrate electronically filed cases with electronic case files already submitted in district courts with those to be filed electronically at the appeals and with the civil case files of the Court of Appeal.
The Supreme Court continues to work on new practices related to its electronic file and archive system.
With the inclusion of the High Administrative Court and family cases in the electronic filing system within the past year, and now the addition of appeals, a significant step has been taken in the digitalisation of judicial processes.
